Our house, Ferienwohnungen Walser, in Maurach am Achensee is located in a sunny, quiet hillside location. The garden especially offers a perfect opportunity to enjoy the magnificent view of the surrounding mountains.
The bus stop is also easily reachable, so nothing stands in the way of unlimited skiing fun in our ski areas. For those who prefer to fully enjoy nature, you can join one of our guided winter hikes with the rangers of the Karwendel Nature Park.
In summer, Achensee with its various water sports options is easily accessible, and mountain lovers can start a tour right at the front door. For those who prefer to be carried up into airy heights by the cable car, the Rofan cable car and the Karwendel cable car are at your disposal.
Other excursion destinations such as the Achensee shipping, the Achensee railway, and many more are also easily reachable.
Our two holiday apartments are 50 to 54 m² in size and comfortably equipped.

Take the motorway A12 (toll sticker required), exit at Wiesing/Achensee and follow the Achensee federal road B181 until you reach Maurach after 7 kilometres. Toll-free journey is possible via Achenpass or Bad Tölz. From Munich, follow the motorway and exit at Holzkirchen, then continue via Tegernsee and Achenpass or via Bad Tölz to the national border. Follow the road to Achenkirch and drive to Maurach.
Getting here by public transport: Take the traain to the train station Jenbach. From here, Lake Achensee is just a short bus ride away, see bus timetables at www.vvt.at. Your reservation confirmation is your free bus ticket to Maurach.
The nearest airports are Innsbruck (50km), Munich (ca. 140km), and Salzburg (ca. 150km).
